A nice title for the very first image of the challenge, and I thought it would be nice to have it as an introduction to all the images, as opposed to a picture with the theme of an introduction. I thought I could have a pic that refers to the challenge itself. And for something thats been a lot of fun, I thought a fun image was only appropriate.
Since poor ole Alviss wont get represented anywhere else in the challenge, and nor will I ever wear that costume again, having thrown away the top and not much wanting to make the effort to do my hair like that again for a very long time, so I thought Id give him this slot. The photo is from the Saturday of Japan Ex 07, and originally I was holding the Y of a YURI banner. I thought about including and from the original photo (here: [link]), but I dont think they wouldve appreciated it very much!
To make things bright and cheerful, I decided to do some editing in a style influenced by s photoshopping, though she does things with vectors and generally does rather clever things in this style that I havent the foggiest how to emulate. Still, I think the result is nice and cheery and does a good job of opening the challenge!

It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More

Very cool though. :thumb86167078: I like the way you framed yourself in the circles too. I'm glad I inspired a cool colourful start!
